# Run your rentals from ChatGPT, Claude or Grok

> Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Grok to Santara AI with one MCP address. Ask about bookings, revenue and cleaning — and let it block dates, assign cleans and draft replies, with your rules on what asks first.

Santara AI runs an official MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://mcp.santara.ai/mcp. Add that one address to Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or any other MCP app, sign in with your Santara AI account, pick a workspace and click Allow. From then on your assistant answers from your real calendar, bookings, guests, inbox, cleaning, tickets and revenue.

It does not stop at answers. Claude and ChatGPT can do work for you. Blocking or opening dates, changing nightly prices and minimum stays, opening and moving tickets, and assigning cleans run at once by default. Guest messages, upsell offers, review replies, bookings and expenses ask you first in the chat, showing the exact change before anything happens. Billing, workspace settings, team and channel connections are never available to an assistant.

Owners and admins choose what runs on its own, what asks first and what is not allowed, on the AI assistants page in Santara AI, which also logs everything each assistant did. An assistant can never do more than your own role allows, your password never goes to the AI app, and you can disconnect in Settings → Channels → Apps at any time. Grok, Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP apps connect read-only.

### What is MCP?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is the open standard AI assistants use to connect to other software. Santara AI runs an MCP server at https://mcp.santara.ai/mcp, so Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and other MCP apps can read and work in your Santara AI workspace.

### Which AI assistants work with Santara AI?

Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the mobile app) as a custom connector, and ChatGPT as a custom MCP server — both can do work for you. Grok, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP apps connect read-only: they answer questions but cannot change anything.

### Can the AI change my calendar or message my guests?

Within your rules. By default calendar, prices, cleaning and tickets run at once; guest messages, review replies, upsell offers, bookings and expenses ask you first in the chat, showing the exact change. Billing, settings, team and channel connections are never available. An owner or admin can change each of these on the AI assistants page.

### Do I need a paid AI plan?

For ChatGPT, yes: custom MCP servers need a paid ChatGPT plan, and on Business and Enterprise an admin may need to allow them first. Free Claude plans allow one custom connector; on Team and Enterprise an owner may need to add it first.

### Is my data safe?

Your password never goes to the AI app: Santara AI signs you in itself and hands the app a key for the one workspace you pick. The assistant sees only what your role can see, and text inside guest messages, reviews or listings is never treated as an instruction.

### How do I disconnect an assistant?

In Santara AI go to Settings → Channels → Apps and click Disconnect next to the assistant. Changes stop within seconds, and anything it could read stops within ten minutes.
